Edward Tomlinson obtained a doctorate from the University of Cambridge in material science, specializing in superconductivity.

Dr. Tomlinson was a senior patent officer for the United Kingdom Defence Evaluation and Research Agency, Electronics Division from 1992-97. He then joined the law firm Bardehle et al, moving to Frohwitter in 1998.

His experience includes drafting and prosecuting British, European and PC patent applications in the fields of electronics signal processing and material science.

He is admitted to practice before the United Kingdom and European patent offices.

Dr. Tomlinson speaks English and German.
