Dr. Dahm is a German Attorney at Law (Rechtsanwältin) since 2007.
Miriam K. Dahm practices in the field of national, European and international Intellectual Property law and is specialized in patent infringement litigation, negotiating and drafting licensing agreements as well as enforcement of judgments following a decision on infringement. She has particular experience in litigating cases in the fields of mechanical engineering, telecommunication technology, electronics and computer software. Miriam K. Dahm has practical experience in coordinating complex multinational infringement lawsuits. Additionally she has profound knowledge in trademark law, copyright law and competition law as well as antitrust law.
After studying law at the University of Bochum, Dr. Dahm gained first-hand experience in patent prosecution during her practical legal training with Hahn & Hahn in Pretoria/South Africa. After obtaining her doctorate she attended an LL.M.-programme in "Intellectual Property Law" at the Düsseldorf University Intellectual Property Center with the main focus on patent law. Her thesis treats the topic of an antitrust defence relating to compulsory licenses in patent infringement proceedings.
Miriam K. Dahm is a member of the Association for Intellectual Property and Copyright law (GRUR) and the Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle (AIPPI).
